Tumours that may cause pain in the thoracic spine mainly include lung tumours, liver tumours and kidney tumours. The pain caused by tumours in these areas is closer to the physical location of the thoracic spine and is affected by the tumour and if it causes pain for a longer period of time, it can involve the thoracic spine and result in radiating pain in the thoracic spine.
