How to treat dental cysts

To treat a dental cyst, the patient must first be seen in a hospital, where x-rays of the cyst must be taken to determine the size and location of the cyst and the roots involved, and root canal treatment must be performed on the roots inside the cyst to eliminate the inflammation in the root canal and prevent the cyst from recurring. During the procedure, the gum tissue flap is turned over at the site of the cyst to expose the bone tissue, and the lateral wall of the cyst is windowed to expose the cyst, and the cyst wall is scraped away completely. Be sure to scrape it out completely; if any cyst wall remains, the cyst will recur again. There is also excision of the diseased and infected apical tissue to prevent reinfection.
