What to do about stage 2 pancreatic cancer

Pancreatic cancer stage 2 needs to choose surgical treatment, radiotherapy, chemotherapy and other methods according to specific conditions. Pancreatic cancer is a malignant tumor of digestive tract which is difficult to diagnose and treat. Pancreatic cancer stage 2 indicates that the tumor has not shown distant metastasis and has not invaded important blood vessels, and the tumor is larger or accompanied by local lymphatic metastasis in this stage. Clinical treatment is mainly based on surgery, combined with radiotherapy and chemotherapy in combination with the development of patient’s condition. Surgical treatment includes whipple operation, pancreaticoduodenectomy with pylorus preservation, total pancreatectomy, pancreatic body tail resection, radical pancreatic head surgery, etc. Radiotherapy includes internal irradiation (intraoperative) and radiotherapy (intraoperative). Radiation therapy includes internal irradiation (intraoperative radiotherapy), preoperative and postoperative external irradiation. Chemotherapy includes intraperitoneal chemotherapy, interventional chemotherapy, combined chemotherapy and so on.
