The difference between the symptoms of cervical spondylosis and cerebral infarction is in the aspects of consciousness, speech, cerebral nerve function and movement.
1. Consciousness: cervical spondylosis does not affect consciousness at the onset. Severe cerebral infarction can lead to impaired consciousness in the form of lethargy, coma and so on.
2. Speech: cervical spondylosis does not cause speech dysfunction. Motor aphasia and sensory aphasia can occur at the onset of cerebral infarction.
3. Cerebral nerve function: cervical spondylosis does not cause damage to cerebral nerve function. At the onset of cerebral infarction, the symptoms of cerebral nerve damage can be visual loss, eye movement disorder, choking on drinking water and so on.
4. Motor aspect: when cervical spondylosis is serious, it can cause weakness of the upper limbs on the affected side. The spinal cord type is likely to lead to the production of sub-segmental motor dysfunction. The onset of cerebral infarction can cause monoparesis or hemiparesis.
If you suspect mental illness or cerebral infarction, go to the outpatient clinic of the hospital to improve the diagnosis of CT or MRI.
