There are two types of strips that can be formed with full eyelid surgery. The first type of strip is a true strip, which is formed because the orbicularis muscle below the incision to the base of the eyelashes has not been removed, and because the tissue has not been removed, the strip will still be there after 6 months of surgery and will not show signs of being eliminated. There is another type of stripe that has been removed from the orbicularis oris muscle below the incision, but will still be present, also known as pseudo stripe, which is formed due to swelling, and is usually more obvious within 3 months after surgery, and after 3 months, as the swelling subsides, this type of stripe will gradually subside. In conclusion, these two types of strips of flesh are different in the formation mechanism, and its final effect is also different.
