Penile ulcers are characterised by penile rupture, erosion and painful itching. There are many causes of penile ulcers, the common ones being priapism or prepuce, localised tissue erosion, redness and pain with a lot of purulent exudate, but with prompt treatment, washing with anti-inflammatory solutions or applying antibiotic ointment, the condition can soon be controlled.
