Chemotherapy for lung adenocarcinoma is moderately sensitive. Lung cancer can be divided into small cell lung cancer, lung adenocarcinoma and squamous lung cancer, among which small cell lung cancer is the most sensitive to chemotherapy, the most malignant and prone to recurrence. Squamous lung cancer is the least sensitive to chemotherapy but less malignant. Lung adenocarcinoma is moderately sensitive to chemotherapy and can be treated with chemotherapeutic drugs to shrink the mass and alleviate the progression of the disease. However, the treatment for patients with lung adenocarcinoma with positive driver genes is now mainly targeted therapy. For patients with EGFR mutation-positive lung adenocarcinoma, oral targeted drugs such as gefitinib and exatinib can be applied to treat the disease. In case of drug resistance, check whether the T790m mutation is positive, and if it is positive, apply oseltinib for symptomatic treatment. If there is still progression consider chemotherapy, such as pemetrexed plus platinum combination therapy.
