Renal cysts can be sclerosed by minimally invasive surgery or renal cyst puncture and aspiration anhydrous ethanol. Minimally invasive surgery is to perform renal cyst decompression under laparoscopy, but currently medical preference is for renal cyst puncture and aspiration anhydrous ethanol sclerosis because it is less invasive. If there is clinical back pain, back distension, large renal cysts, and the location of renal cysts is on the surface of the kidney or the lower pole of the kidney, the renal cysts can be punctured and aspirated under ultrasound positioning, and the epithelial cells of the renal cysts can be sclerosed with anhydrous ethanol to close the cysts and prevent the recurrence of renal cysts. If the renal cyst is inside the kidney or in the upper pole of the kidney, minimally invasive surgery with renal cyst decompression is recommended. There is no specific drug treatment for renal cysts, which are benign lesions and usually do not cause malignancy and hypertension and renal failure. As we age, the number of kidney cysts may increase, leading to the formation of multiple cysts in the kidneys, which should be identified by CT or MRI examination and polycystic kidney at this time.
