What about spinal sacral arachnoid cysts?

Arachnoid cysts in the spinal sacral canal generally do not require treatment if the cyst is small and the patient is asymptomatic. If the cyst is relatively large, the patient has symptoms of nerve compression and significant discomfort, treatment is required. The main method of treatment is surgical excision, and generally patients can be cured by surgical excision. Cysts are benign lesions that do not spread or metastasize, and individual patients are prone to recurrence of cysts after surgical treatment. For patients with recurrence, surgical excision can be performed again.
