Fatigue syndrome (CFS) is a group of syndromes characterized by persistent or recurrent episodes of fatigue with a variety of neurological and psychiatric symptoms, but without organic or psychiatric disease. Because the clinical symptoms of chronic fatigue syndrome are complex, the general physical examination and laboratory test results are not significant abnormalities. The degree of manifestation usually varies, and the symptoms vary in severity. Its etiology is not clear, and it is closely related to the dysfunction of the nervous, endocrine, immune, digestive, circulatory, motor and other systems caused by long-term overwork (including mental and physical strength), irregular diet and life, mental environmental factors such as work pressure and excessive psychological stress, and stress.
1.Psychological aspects
Patients with psychological abnormalities appear earlier and more prominently than the physical symptoms. Most of them are depression, anxiety, impatience, irritability, emotional instability, irritability, confusion, slow reaction, memory loss, inattention, lack of confidence and indecision.
2.Physical aspects
Body shape is often presented as thin and fat. Most of them are thin, and a few of them may also show obesity. It is not uncommon for the latter group of patients to suffer from this sign. Most of them show premature aging of the face, with a dull complexion and premature appearance of facial wrinkles or pigment spots; rough, dry and flaky skin on the limbs; loss of normal smoothness and luster of finger (toe) nails; hair loss, fluffy dirt, easy to break and lusterless.
3.Motor system
Total body fatigue, weakness of limbs, discomfort around the body, slow activity. Sometimes cold-like symptoms, myalgia, joint pain, etc. may appear. If it is longer, accumulating for several months or years, it is particularly obvious and can feel like a serious illness.
4.Digestive system
The main manifestation is the loss of appetite, lack of appetite for all kinds of food, especially greasy food is the most significant. There is no sense of hunger, and sometimes there may be partial food, indigestion and abdominal distension after eating; the shape of stool is often changed, constipation, dryness or an increase in the number of stools, etc.
5.Nervous system
Showing mental discomfort or nervousness, often dizziness, insomnia, panic, irritability, etc. at the beginning; at the later stage, it shows symptoms of sleep deprivation, dreaminess, night terrors, early awakening in the middle, insomnia, etc., and even drowsiness, depression, laziness, memory loss, etc.
6.Genitourinary system
Along with mental abnormalities, urinary system symptoms such as frequent urination and urinary urgency can occur. In addition, people who are overly fatigued are most likely to foam in the container to urinate, and the foam stays for a long time. Men experience seminal emission, impotence, premature ejaculation, and loss of libido; women experience irregular menstruation or early amenorrhea, and sexual frigidity. In the long run, infertility may occur.
7. Aspects of the sensory system
The visual system mainly manifests as eye pain, blurred vision, sensitivity to light, etc.; the auditory system mainly manifests as tinnitus, hearing loss, etc.
