Whether a neurogenic tumor 3mm is serious or not is mainly related to the nature of the tumor, malignant tumors are more serious.
Neurogenic tumors mainly occur in the posterior mediastinal area, and a few can also occur in the intervertebral foramen. Pathological examination is performed to find that such tumors are mostly benign, including nerve sheath tumors, neurofibromas, etc.; malignant, such as neurogenic sarcoma.
Benign tumors of neurogenic origin are less likely to be malignant and may be localized with pain and swelling. Malignant tumors may also show infiltrative growth and even metastasis.
