Minimally invasive, or minimally invasive surgery, refers to surgical treatment using the least invasive methods, including various small incisions in thoracic surgery and thoracoscopic surgery, etc. Thoracic diseases often involve the most important vital organs of human body, and thoracic surgery is risky and has relatively more complications, and a little more trauma may cause serious consequences. Therefore, “minimally invasive” is even more important. Compared with traditional surgical methods, minimally invasive surgery means not only choosing the smallest incision, but also, more importantly, the least damage to tissues and organs, the least impact on cardiopulmonary function, the lightest systemic inflammatory response, and thus the fastest recovery. Totally thoracoscopic surgery is considered a revolutionary breakthrough in thoracic surgery at the end of the twentieth century and is the most widely used thoracoscopic surgery in minimally invasive thoracic surgery, which is a surgical method in which the surgeon completes the operation with the help of a TV screen. The surgeon makes an observation hole in the chest wall, puts a TV camera device to observe the situation inside the chest, then makes 1~3 operation holes, puts in the instruments, and completes the corresponding operation under the TV screen image, because the hole in the chest wall is small, about 1.5cm, so the thoracoscopic surgery is less traumatic, less painful after surgery, faster recovery, and the hospitalization time is obviously reduced. Our department is the first to carry out many minimally invasive thoracic surgeries in Zaozhuang City, including TV thoracoscopic mediastinal lymph node biopsy, various thoracic surgeries under small incisions, and thoracoscopic-assisted small incision surgeries. In recent years, the department has continued to maintain this advantage, continuously developed new operations, expanded the indications for minimally invasive thoracic surgery, and taken the lead in the city in the diagnosis and treatment of lung, mediastinum and thymus diseases under complete thoracoscopy, and has established perfect and systematic treatment measures for minimally invasive thoracic surgery. Indications for TV thoracoscopic surgery: 1. Pneumonectomy and pleural fixation of spontaneous pneumothorax. 2.Pleural biopsy. 3.Treatment of multi-room pleural effusion and separation of adhesion zone. Encapsulated abscess chest drainage and pleural stripping. 4.Minimally invasive treatment of benign esophageal diseases such as esophageal smooth muscle tumor, esophageal diverticulum, cardia achalasia. 5.Lung wedge resection for benign lung tumors and biopsy of peripheral lung lesions. 6.Mediastinal lymph node biopsy of unknown nature. 7.Head sweating, hand sweating. 8.Intrathoracic hemostasis and visceral rupture repair for thoracic trauma. 9.Mediastinal tumor removal. 10.Part of esophageal and lung malignant tumor. 11.Surgical treatment of early lung cancer. 12.Other surgeries suitable for thoracoscopic operation.
