  Interpretation of early pregnancy test result 1.positive: two purple bands appear, one in the test area (T) and the other in the quality control area (C), indicating pregnancy; 2.negative: only one purple band appears in the quality control area (C) and no purple band appears in the test area (T), indicating no pregnancy; 3.invalid: no purple band appears in the quality control area (C), indicating incorrect operation or the reagent has been spoiled and damaged. In this case, the instructions should be read carefully again and the test should be repeated with a new reagent.  Interpretation of hospital urine pregnancy test results 1. Positive: indicates pregnancy, further blood HCG and ultrasound may be performed to determine if the pregnancy is intrauterine; 2. Negative: indicates possible non-pregnancy, another recheck in 1-2 weeks or blood HCG test is required to determine if pregnancy is present.
