What is a bag on the inside of the thigh called

A bag on the inner thigh is usually caused by enlarged lymph nodes in the leg.

The main function of lymph nodes is to filter lymph fluid, produce lymphocytes and plasma cells, and participate in the body’s immune response. When a local infection occurs, bacteria, viruses, or cancer cells can invade along the lymphatic vessels and can cause local lymph node enlargement.

1. The enlargement caused by various infections, connective tissue diseases and allergic reactions can be fully recovered within a certain period of time with the removal of the cause and standardized treatment.

2. Persistent progressive enlargement of lymph nodes caused by malignant tumors originating in lymph nodes such as lymphoma, lymphocytic leukemia, and malignant histiocytosis, as well as lymph node metastases from other malignant tumors such as lung cancer, gastric cancer, and breast cancer, often worsen progressively to death if not treated actively.

3. There is another type of enlargement that is between benign and malignant. The first of these is a vascular lymphadenopathy and vascular follicular lymphadenopathy. It often starts as benign and gradually develops into malignant and fatal. Therefore, after determining the enlargement of lymph nodes, it is crucial to determine the cause and nature of the enlargement. Local enlargement with obvious pain is often indicative of infection; progressive painless enlargement is often indicative of malignancy. Therefore when a bag is found on the inner thigh it must be taken seriously and promptly seen in a hospital to avoid delaying the condition.
