Patients with anxiety chest pain generally have intermittent episodes of chest pain, but rarely have persistent episodes, and the chest pain occurs mostly when the patient is anxious or excited. The pain is mainly distension or stabbing pain, which is mainly due to the patient’s anxiety that causes liver stagnation and liver qi discomfort, resulting in chest pain, but through chest X-ray or chest CT examination, no organic lesion of the chest can be found. Whenever the mood is relaxed, the chest pain will disappear.
