The fastest way to replenish amniotic fluid is to use amniotic cavity infusion. Increasing the amount of amniotic fluid using amniotic cavity infusion may be associated with the risk of fetal infection or poor fetal condition, and there is also a risk of injury to the fetus in late pregnancy, and is currently used very sparingly in clinical practice.
Lots of fluids and oxygenation do help.
Intravenous fluids, in addition to amniotic cavity infusion, can be used to increase amniotic fluid volume through massive fluid replacement. Large amounts of fluid supplementation over a short period of time can increase maternal circulation and thus indirectly increase circulation to the uteroplacenta, potentially achieving an increase in amniotic fluid.
