What are the symptoms of low amniotic fluid?

Symptoms of low amniotic fluid include.
Significant fetal movement and abdominal pain felt during fetal movement.
Sensitivity of the uterus, which often causes contractions on examination due to mild stimulation.
Fetal heartbeat is accelerated and examination reveals a smaller abdominal circumference and uterine height than in a concurrent pregnancy.
It is common when the expected delivery date is 2 to 3 weeks past.
The amniotic fluid is extremely low, viscous and mostly yellowish-green, which can lead to fetal hypoxia and reduced fetal movement.
During labour there are often weak primary contractions or uncoordinated contractions, slow dilatation of the uterine opening and a tendency to prolong the first stage of labour.
