Can color vision be cured?

Chromatic weakness is mostly a congenital disease for which there is no effective treatment; while a few acquired diseases, such as retinopathy and optic nerve disease, cause chromatic weakness, can be treated for the cause and most of them can achieve good treatment results. Color weakness refers to the reduced ability of the human eye to discriminate colors, and is usually divided into green weakness and red weakness. Patients with color weakness are able to see normal colors, but have poor color discrimination, and can only see colors when they are more saturated. Color weakness is a milder disease than color blindness, able to distinguish colors, such as going to a red or green light alone, but if many colors are mixed together, it is basically indistinguishable. In the case of congenital color weakness, it is usually difficult to cure and can be corrected by wearing corrective glasses to achieve the effect of color vision disorder. For the few acquired diseases that cause color weakness, most of them can get better results after targeted treatment. For patients with color weakness, it will not affect their daily life if they do not engage in dangerous occupations, and there is no need to worry too much.
