DSA angiography is an auxiliary examination technique that is commonly used in the diagnosis and treatment of various clinical diseases in the contemporary era of advanced technology, which helps doctors to detect the disease in time and control its progress, effectively improving the survival rate of patients. Angiography is an interventional test in which a contrast agent is injected into the blood vessels. Because X-rays cannot penetrate the contrast agent, angiography can accurately reflect the location and extent of the lesions in the blood vessels. However, angiography is also an invasive test and is associated with a number of allergic reactions, including pruritus, urticaria, angioedema, bronchospasm, hypotension and syncope, most commonly urticaria, most of which are self-limiting and respond to epinephrine and antihistamine therapy, but the potential for fatalities should not be overlooked.
