If a nodule in the left adrenal body requires detailed examination and evaluation in the hospital, a decision on how to treat it should be made. 1. For non-functional adenomas, if the volume is <1 cm, clinical observation and follow-up are recommended. If there is no change, clinical observation can be continued. 2. For patients with >1 cm nodules with secretory function, hospitalization for laparoscopic surgery is recommended. Surgery removes the local adenoma, removes the endocrine function of the adenoma, and restores the patient’s normal vital signs. For huge left adrenal nodules, even total adrenalectomy is required, after which the patient’s hormone secretion should be monitored regularly and hormone replacement therapy should be given if necessary. 3. If malignant left adrenal nodules are detected, early surgery should be performed, and further radiotherapy or chemotherapy should be chosen according to the pathological results after surgery.
