The chance of detecting early pancreatic cancer by CT is relatively small. When the early lesions of pancreatic cancer are relatively small, it is difficult to achieve accurate judgment and identification by ordinary CT. It is difficult to distinguish the normal pancreas from the cancerous lesions due to the influence of gas and intestinal gas in front of the pancreas and the tissues when the pancreas is scanned by ordinary CT. If you want to detect pancreatic cancer early, the best way is to do enhanced CT or MRI, which may detect the relatively small pancreatic cancer lesions early. Therefore, for early detection of pancreatic cancer, regular CT or enhanced CT should be done annually for the appropriate physical examination. Meanwhile, for early detection of pancreatic cancer, surgical treatment must be actively adopted to maximize the cure rate and survival of pancreatic cancer.
