Damp-heat fumigation refers to the mutual accumulation of damp and heat evils, with clinical symptoms such as yellowing of the skin on the head and face, yellowing of the eyes, sweating of the head, sweating with heat that does not subside, and so on.
The clinical symptoms of patients with damp-heat fumigation are yellowing of the skin on the head and face, yellowing of the eyes, sweating of the head, sweating with heat that does not go away, drowsiness of the mind, bitter and sticky mouth, and acidity and drowsiness of the limbs. Commonly used drugs include Ge Gen Baicalin Lian Wan and Yin Chen Wu Ling Wan.
Puerariae Radix Scutellariae Lian Pill has the effects of relieving muscle (relieving the evil qi on the surface of the skin) and transmitting the surface, clearing heat and removing toxins (removing heat and toxins from the body), inducing dampness and stopping diarrhea. It is used for diarrhea and abdominal pain, yellow and sticky stools, burning in the anus caused by dampness-heat accumulation (the accumulation of dampness and heat in the body); and fever, headache and body pain caused by wind-heat cold.
Yin Chen Wu Ling Wan, has the effect of clearing dampness and heat and facilitating urination. It is used for jaundice caused by damp-heat in the liver and gallbladder (damp-heat evils accumulated in the liver and gallbladder), jaundice with damp-heat caused by stagnation of the spleen and lungs, distension and fullness in the gallbladder and abdomen, and dysuria (unruly urination). Jaundice belonging to cold-damp yin-yellow is contraindicated. Pregnant women should use with caution.
