Healthy children can receive the first dose of varicella vaccine after 1 year of age.
Children who have reached 1 year of age can receive the first varicella vaccination, and when they are 4-6 years old, they can receive the second varicella vaccination, which is more effective in preventing chickenpox. In general, the varicella vaccine can be given at any time, but it is recommended that the second dose be given at least 3 months apart from the first.
Currently, varicella vaccination is the safest and most effective measure to prevent chickenpox. Chickenpox vaccination can prevent chickenpox on the one hand; on the other hand, even if chickenpox occurs after injection, its symptoms are much milder than those who have not been injected, such as less fever or less rash, and the possibility of complications is lower.
