Dangerous areas of microplastic injections

Dermal filler injections and volume fillers should avoid “danger zones”. Dermal filler injections may induce severe complications such as skin necrosis or loss of vision. Brennan C, a plastic surgeon in California, USA, has systematically analyzed the facial anatomy related to injectable fillers. The risk areas of facial fillers include: cheek, between the eyebrows, nose, temporal area and corners of the mouth. The cheek mainly contains the facial artery, the transverse facial artery, the buccal branch of the maxillary artery, the infraorbital artery and the zygomatic branch of the lacrimal artery. The interbrow mainly includes the superior talocrine artery and the supraorbital artery. The nasal flank mainly contains the lateral nasal artery and the medial canthal artery. The temporal region mainly contains the superficial temporal artery, the frontal branch of the superficial temporal artery, and some branches of the superficial temporal artery. The corners of the mouth mainly include the superior labial artery and the inferior labial artery.
