Hyperbaric oxygen does have a number of “brilliant” features, of which there are two main points: 1, hyperbaric oxygen can increase the partial pressure of blood oxygen. The partial pressure of oxygen in the blood is about 14 times higher than when breathing air at atmospheric pressure. 2. Hyperbaric oxygen increases the effective diffusion distance of oxygen exponentially. The distance between the cells and capillaries increases when the tissue edema increases, which requires a larger diffusion distance of oxygen, and only hyperbaric oxygen can achieve this goal. In addition, hyperbaric oxygen can reduce intracranial pressure, reduce cerebral edema, and improve microcirculation and promote tissue cell repair.
