What’s wrong with high urine bacteria?

  If a routine urine test reveals a high bacterial level, two conditions are generally considered: one is caused by a urinary tract infection, and the other is contamination of urine during the test or during urine collection.  If the examination shows elevated urinary routine bacteria, accompanied by urinary urgency, urinary frequency, urinary pain and other typical symptoms of urinary tract infection, it can be diagnosed as a urinary tract infection, this condition can generally be treated with empirical anti-infection, most can choose cephalosporin or quinolone antibiotics anti-infection, at the same time, pay attention to drink more water, more urination. The general course of anti-infection treatment is 1 to 2 weeks.  If the treatment effect is not good through about 1 week, or even the symptoms worsen, we should consider that the antibiotics are not sensitive to cause, need to promptly go to do urine culture plus drug sensitivity, and then according to the culture results, choose the corresponding sensitive antibiotics, targeted anti-infection treatment.  If it is a fungal infection, you need to choose antifungal drugs to treat it, and pay attention to monitoring liver function during the treatment process, because the general antifungal drugs may damage the liver.  High urinary routine bacteria need to be alert to urinary tract infections, timely treatment intervention, usually pay attention to develop good urination habits, maintain local cleanliness and hygiene, to prevent the occurrence of urinary tract infections.
