Sweaty feet in winter is kidney deficiency

  Sweaty feet in winter does not mean kidney deficiency, some physiological and pathological factors can cause.  Sweaty feet in winter may be caused by plant nerve dysfunction, which is manifested by excessive secretion of sweat glands in one part of the body, usually without other uncomfortable symptoms. From the perspective of Chinese medicine, sweaty feet in winter may be caused by qi deficiency, yin deficiency or spleen and stomach dysfunction. In the case of Qi deficiency, it is often accompanied by physical weakness and loss of appetite. In the case of Yin deficiency, sweating often occurs after falling asleep and is more frequent, and may be accompanied by palpitations, insomnia, and heat in the hands and feet. Those whose feet sweat due to spleen and stomach dysfunction may be accompanied by symptoms such as dry mouth and restlessness.  In daily life, patients with sweaty feet should choose comfortable and breathable shoes, and dry them frequently to keep them dry. It is recommended to change socks regularly, soak feet in tea or vinegar before bed, and also apply talcum powder on the feet.
