After the onset of fever and cough in patients with novel coronavirus pneumonia, the disease gradually evolves and reaches its peak in about a week. After reaching the peak of the disease, most patients experience a gradual remission. However, this phenomenon is not absolute, and some patients who do not have fever during the course of the disease may develop severe disease. To summarize, patients’ fever and cough symptoms gradually worsen, and the disease peaks in about seven days, and then gradually relieves, with some patients experiencing prolonged illness. Due to the differences in age, underlying diseases, and physical condition of individuals, there are some differences in the performance of patients, and no generalization can be made.
