Chronic functional constipation (chronic functional constipation. CFC) is a common gastrointestinal condition that has been bothering people for a long time, including dry stools that do not come out well and stools that are not dry but also difficult to come out of the two cases. The average number of bowel movements is less than 3 times per week. Constipation is both a symptom and a disease. It can be a result of impaired colonic propulsive motility due to a dynamic disease or due to anal sphincter dysfunction, or it can be a clinical manifestation of irritable bowel syndrome. Chronic functional constipation is the most common form of outpatient constipation. The incidence rate can reach more than 10%. Constipation can be caused by changes in lifestyle, emotional depression, dietary factors, poor defecation habits, and drug effects.
