Hair fine and thinning head baldness is considered to be caused by factors such as spot baldness or androgenetic alopecia. It can be treated by topical and oral medications, surgery and other means under the guidance of a doctor. 1. Patchy baldness: It is an autoimmune-related, psychogenic, non-scarring hair loss disease, which can be characterized by patchy hair loss. Under doctor’s guidance, local injection of glucocorticosteroids such as Betamethasone, topical Minoxidil or Halometasone ointment can be given. When the disease progresses rapidly, oral glucocorticoid drugs such as prednisone are needed to control the disease. 2. Androgenetic alopecia: It is non-scarring hair loss, related to heredity and androgen, mainly manifested as progressive hair loss and miniaturization of hair follicles. Patients can be treated with oral finasteride, spironolactone and topical minoxidil. If necessary, hair transplantation can be used to improve local aesthetics. Abnormal hair loss must be timely medical treatment, follow the doctor’s prescription medication, so as not to delay the condition.
