Chronic myeloid leukemia starts slowly: 1. Early on, there are often no conscious symptoms, and patients may come to the doctor only when they have an abnormal blood picture or an enlarged spleen due to a health checkup or other illness. It usually lasts for 1-4 years. Patients have symptoms of hypermetabolism such as fatigue, low fever, excessive sweating, night sweats, and weight loss, as well as hepatosplenomegaly, but liver enlargement is relatively rare. In some patients, there is pressure pain in the lower and middle sternum, and leukocyte stasis can occur if leukocytes are extremely elevated; 2. After entering the accelerated phase, fever, weakness, progressive weight loss, bone pain, and even progressive anemia and bleeding, and progressive enlargement of the spleen may occur; 3. The prognosis is extremely poor after reaching the acute phase, and death often occurs within a few months.
