Symptoms during the recovery period of lumbar protrusion

Most patients with lumbar disc herniation will feel chronic, persistent pain in the lumbar region during the recovery period, and can perform appropriate bending activities in the lumbar region, but the patient’s pain will be significantly increased when bending, with positive pressure pain and negative percussion pain when touching the lumbar region. Patients may have difficulty walking and may experience reduced dorsiflexion of the bunions during walking. Patients may undergo electromyography, or CT or MRI films of the lumbar spine. In the treatment, the main focus is on conservative treatment, telling the patient to rest and rest in bed as much as possible, and the lumbar region can be supplemented with physical therapy and electrocautery.
