Can you take Guizheng Pills and Baohe Pills together?

Taking the spleen pill and Baohe pill are not contraindications and can be taken together. However, it is recommended to use under the guidance of a physician.
Gui Spleen Pill is composed of Poria, roasted Astragalus, fried Atractylodes macrocephala, Radix et Rhizoma Ginseng, prepared Polygala, Radix Angelicae Sinensis, fried Jujube Kernel, and Mucuna pruriens. Its function is to benefit qi and strengthen the spleen, nourish blood and tranquilize the mind.
It is mainly used for the treatment of palpitation, insomnia and excessive dreaming, shortness of breath, lack of appetite and tiredness of limbs caused by deficiency of heart and spleen. Adverse reactions such as gastrointestinal discomfort and skin rash may occur when taking this product. Contraindications are not clear.
Baohe Pill is composed of Poria, Pericarpium Citri Reticulatae, Burnt Hawthorn, Prepared Semixia, Forsythia, and Liuxinqu. Its function is to eliminate food stagnation (promote food digestion) and harmonize the stomach. It is mainly used for the treatment of food and drink stagnation, nausea, generalized acidity, distention and fullness of the epigastrium (abdomen), and lack of desire for food and drink.
The adverse reactions and contraindications of this product are not known.
Gui Teng Wan and Bao He Wan can be taken together, they are not contraindications for pairing, but before taking them, Chinese medicine practitioners should be asked to carry out diagnosis and use them under doctor’s guidance.
