Differential diagnosis of cerebral cysts

Cerebral cysts are confined to the corresponding parts of the arachnoid membrane, and doctors can distinguish them from other diseases by cranial CT or magnetic resonance scanning. Cerebral cysts imaging manifests as a low-density watery-like imaging effect. For cysts with small diameter and not in important functional areas, they usually do not produce obvious clinical symptoms. Arachnoid cysts are commonly detected by CT in patients who have been injured in accidents. For patients with small diameters of cysts, it is recommended that patients undergo regular follow-up. If there is no further progression, surgery is not recommended.
