Symptoms of mandibular sinusitis

Sinuses can be divided into four groups of sinuses, including maxillary sinus, sieve sinus, frontal sinus and butterfly sinus, so there is no mandibular sinusitis, it may be maxillary sinusitis. Maxillary sinusitis is a type of sinusitis, and patients can be divided into acute and chronic. Patients can experience nasal congestion and runny nose during sinusitis attacks, usually yellow-green purulent discharge, which can be accompanied by decreased sense of smell, headache, and facial swelling. Patients with these symptoms are recommended to undergo nasal endoscopy and sinus CT examination, which can clarify the diagnosis. In acute sinusitis, the patient has an acute onset and may have systemic symptoms and even fever, malaise, and gastrointestinal discomfort. When acute sinusitis is not treated timely and thoroughly, it can turn into chronic sinusitis, and symptoms can be prolonged and recurrent.
