Appendicitis care routine

Second, the patient needs to fast before surgery, and if necessary, gastrointestinal decompression is feasible to reduce the symptoms of abdominal pain and bloating. After surgery, the patient can only try warm water before exhaustion and defecation, and after the recovery of gastrointestinal function, a light and liquid diet can be carried out. Third, for postoperative patients with abdominal drains, be sure to properly fix the drainage tube to prevent pressure blockage of the drainage tube, to ensure that the accumulation of blood and fluid in the abdominal cavity, can be smoothly drained. Fourth, for the observation of the wound of the wounded patient, must pay attention to the presence of redness, swelling and pain, local skin temperature rise, etc.. Closely observe whether there is incisional fat liquefaction, infection, etc. For patients with wet incision dressing, it is necessary to change the dressing as soon as possible to avoid delayed healing of the incision.
