Difference between Shuxin Lipid-lowering Tablets and Xuesetong

Hemosiderin is available in various dosage forms such as tablets, softgels, drops, and dispersible tablets. The difference between Shuxin Lipid-lowering Tablets and Haemoceton is the difference in the composition, efficacy and indications of the drugs.
1. Different drug ingredients: Shu Xin lipid-lowering tablets are composed of purple salvia, hawthorn, buckwheat pollen, tiger nut, safflower, Pueraria lobata, Allium sativum, peach kernel, henbane, descending incense, red peony; Xue Xietong is composed of total saponins of Panax ginseng.
2. Different efficacy: Shuxin Lipid-lowering Tablets have the efficacy of activating blood circulation and removing blood stasis, promoting Yang and lowering turbidity, and promoting qi and relieving pain (by regulating the body’s qi to alleviate pain); the efficacy of Xueshetong is to activate blood circulation and remove blood stasis, and to promote blood circulation and activation of collaterals.
3. Different indications: Shuxin Lowering Tablets are used for qi and blood phlegm paralysis, chest pain, palpitation, insomnia, epigastric plumpness, coronary heart disease, hyperlipidemia, and hyperlipidemia; Xueshetong is used for cerebral stasis, hemiplegia, cardiac stasis (heart veins and channels are blocked by stagnant blood), thoracic paralysis and cardiac pain, cerebrovascular disease, coronary angina pectoris, and those with the above mentioned indications.
Xuesetong is contraindicated in pregnant women.
