Can I drink strong tea for kidney disease? Drinking tea can help the digestion of food and has certain benefits. However, strong tea will affect the absorption of iron in food, especially after meals, because the tannic acid in tea and iron in food combined into insoluble precipitates, can not be absorbed by the digestive tract, due to iron deficiency affects hematopoiesis, over time, iron deficiency anemia will occur, so one hour before and after meals should not drink strong tea.
