Wu Ji Bai Feng Wan has the effect of tonifying Qi and nourishing blood, regulating menstruation and stopping leucorrhoea (regulating menstruation and reducing abnormally increased leucorrhoea), the adverse effects are not clear, and need to be taken in accordance with the doctor’s instructions. Wu Ji Bai Feng Wan is a gynecological common medicine, the formula chooses Wu Ji, and then adds deer antler gelatin, ripened rhizome which tonifies the liver and kidney, benefits essence and blood, sang cuttlebone and calcined oyster which nourishes yin and submerges yang and softens and disperses hard lumps, ginseng, chuanxiong, astragalus, angelica, fragrant herbs, white peony, salvia, and danshen etc., which can not only tonify the qi and nourish the blood, but also regulate menstruation and stop leucorrhoea. Wu Ji Bai Feng Wan is often used in the treatment of women with yellowish complexion (yellowish color without luster), shortness of breath, lumbar and knee soreness (a feeling of soreness and weakness in the lumbar and knee regions), and irregular menstruation caused by deficiency of qi and blood. The adverse effects of this product are not clear, pregnant women should not take it, tea and radish should not be consumed during the medication, and it should not be taken at the same time with quinquefolium, wulingzhi and saponaria. The drug is recommended to be taken under the guidance of a traditional Chinese medicine practitioner to identify the symptoms, and should not be used blindly on its own.
