The difference between shock and coma

The difference between shock and coma mainly lies in the differences in pathogenesis, causes and symptoms. 1. Pathogenesis: Shock is a pathological process of insufficient blood perfusion of the body, which leads to microcirculation system disorder, cell metabolism disorder and functional damage. Coma is the loss of consciousness and body movement due to the inhibition of brain function. 2. Pathogenesis: Shock is usually caused by acute allergy, severe pain, severe infection and so on. The common causes of coma are craniocerebral injury, hypoglycemia, electrolyte disorders, hyperthyroidism and so on. 3. Symptoms: Most shock patients are conscious and aware. Comatose patients are usually unconscious. To summarize, no matter whether the patient is shock or coma, should be sent to the hospital in time for diagnosis and treatment, so as not to delay the condition.
