The misdiagnosis of condyloma acuminatum

Although warts are common clinically, misdiagnosis is not uncommon, causing mental stress, physical damage and economic burden to patients. The first of these is the misdiagnosis of condyloma acuminata as other diseases, and the second is the misdiagnosis of non-condyloma acuminata as condyloma acuminata. The former is less common, but the latter is more common. The actual diagnosis of condyloma acuminata is mainly based on the genital, perineal and anal areas with papillary, cauliflower or corpuscular growths, which have a history of impure sexual intercourse, and are generally not difficult to diagnose.
