Novel coronavirus can be detected by nucleic acid amplification test, serologic examination, and chest imaging. 1. Nucleic acid amplification test: For patients suspected to be infected with novel coronavirus, nasal swabs and oropharyngeal swabs can be used to check whether they are infected with novel coronavirus. 2. Serologic examination: If infection with novel coronavirus is suspected, IgG antibody or IgG antibody specific for novel coronavirus can be tested. 3. Chest imaging: If the patient is infected with novel coronavirus, chest CT examination may reveal interstitial or small patchy shadows in the lungs. With the development of the disease, the patient will also have ground glass shadow and infiltration shadow in both lungs. If the patient suspects that he/she is infected with novel coronavirus, he/she needs to consult a doctor in time for examination, and the doctor will take a throat swab and perfect chest CT to detect the infection.
