Treatment options for chronic gonorrhea

Treatment was stratified according to chromosomal abnormalities [e.g., fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH) testing], age, and physical fitness. Stratification is based on the overall health status of the patient, such as cumulative disease score (CIRS) and renal function, and is divided into three categories: 1. Palliative treatment: Patients with some kind of complications, organ function impairment, decreased physical status, receive low intensity treatment such as reduced intensity chemotherapy; 3. Palliative treatment: Patients with severe organ function impairment, severe complications, receive best supportive treatment, benzodiazepine alone or rituximab alone, etc. Age is not a fundamental factor in determining treatment!
