Is it okay to get the third dose of the hepatitis B vaccine a few days early?

Hepatitis B vaccine can be given a few days in advance, and there is no big effect. For newborns, the vaccination program of hepatitis B is “0, 1, 6 months”, with a total of three vaccinations. The first injection of hepatitis B vaccine should be given as early as possible within 24 hours after the birth of newborns, the second injection should be given 1 month after the first injection, and the third injection should be given 6 months after the first injection. Usually, all newborns can be vaccinated at the age of 5-8 months, but the interval between the second and third injections should be ≥60 days. For adults, a hepatitis B 2.5 test should be performed prior to hepatitis B vaccination to determine whether hepatitis B vaccination is necessary based on the blood results. If hepatitis B vaccine is needed, the time of vaccination should be the same as that for newborns, and the third vaccination should be given 5~8 months after the first vaccination. Therefore, it is possible to get the third vaccination a few days earlier. It is recommended to go to a regular medical institution to receive the hepatitis B vaccine.
