Why does the cold weather trigger pain under the glabella?

When the outside temperature drops, the blood vessels in the body constrict. If the patient suffers from diseases such as atherosclerotic stenosis, the sudden constriction of the blood vessels can make the heart ischemia more serious, leading to diseases such as angina or myocardial infarction.
For patients with gastrointestinal diseases, lower temperatures can cause vasoconstriction leading to ischaemia of the gastrointestinal mucosa, as well as excitement of the vegetative nerves that govern the internal organs and increased secretion of gastric acid, stimulating the gastric mucosa and aggravating the disease. Therefore, colder weather can trigger subxiphoid pain to some extent.
