Ataxia microcephaly is an inherited neurological disorder. There is no specific treatment for hereditary neurological disorders, and the main treatment is to improve the patient’s symptoms and quality of life. For patients with ataxia, unstable walking, and limb tremors, nerve nutrition such as olanzapine can be given to promote functional recovery. If there is tremor in the limbs, small amounts of anti-tremor drugs, such as amantadine and medroxyprogesterone, can be given to reduce symptoms, and functional exercises, such as muscle massage and postural coordination exercises, can be performed for limb function. There is no specific treatment for hereditary ataxia and microcephaly.
