Urticarial vasculitis is a disease of the immune system with a complex pathogenesis. Urticarial vasculitis is currently found to occur mostly in middle-aged women, often with an irregular fever at the onset, sometimes up to 38-39°C. The skin is characterized by a rash that is mainly zymotic and lasts for a long time, even several days. The attacks are often accompanied by arthralgia and arthritis, as well as abdominal discomfort, swollen lymph nodes, and kidney damage. Therefore, for the treatment of urticarial vasculitis, glucocorticoids must be applied early, but the dosage of glucocorticoids must also be recognized. If you wait until the body temperature returns to normal and the rash mostly subsides, the glucocorticoids must be gradually reduced, otherwise, long-term application of glucocorticoids will have related side effects.
