How to check yourself for kidney stones?

Kidney stones, a urinary tract disorder, are more common in men than in women, and their clinical symptoms vary considerably. The size, number, location and cause of the stones affect the symptoms, which may not be obvious if the disease is mild. However, if the disease is severe, it may lead to renal failure and toxic shock, or even death. Some of the more common early symptoms of kidney stones are mainly as follows. 1. Kidney colic. When the stone appears in the junction of the renal pelvis ureter or descends in the ureter, there will be a sudden pain like a knife twist, which is very unbearable, this is renal colic. The pain spreads from the side of the abdomen or waist down to the bladder area, vulva, and inner thighs. Sometimes it is accompanied by nausea and vomiting, profuse sweating and other manifestations. 2. Flesh-eye hematuria. The main reason for the occurrence of hematuria is the damage to the mucous membrane, because stones can cause serious damage to the mucous membrane. When the patient is more active, pain and hematuria are more likely to be induced. When a stone is accompanied by an infection, pus cells may appear in the urine. Urinary urgency and painful urination may also occur. 3. Fever, chills and shivering, and other symptoms of general discomfort. These symptoms are more obvious when there is pus in the kidney or when acute pyelonephritis occurs. The body may feel hot, but it is afraid of cold and occasionally chills. When the upper urinary tract stones or kidney stones on both sides of the kidney are completely obstructed, it will produce anuric symptoms.
