It is recommended not to eat ham within 1-3 months after gallstone surgery because it may contain high cholesterol and fat. Within 1-3 months after cholecystectomy, if you eat foods high in cholesterol and fat, it may lead to diarrhea or vague pain and discomfort in the upper abdomen. It is better to eat a light diet, eat more fresh vegetables and fruits, and try to avoid the intake of high cholesterol and high fat foods. At the same time, you should eat three meals a day regularly, avoid overeating, quit smoking and drinking, and exercise properly.
