Kidney stones can jump when they are painful. The pain caused by kidney stones is mainly caused by the kidney stones getting stuck on the ureter in the process of downward movement, resulting in ureteral dilatation, traction or pelvic fluid accumulation. In order to relieve the pain, the first and foremost thing is to promote the downward movement of the stone and release the strain on the ureter and the fluid in the pelvis. More exercise, especially jumping, can promote the downward movement of the stone under the effect of gravity, which may be better if combined with more water and the application of antispasmodic medications such as scopolamine. If the pain is not very severe, the patient may be willing to cooperate to exercise. If the pain is very severe, the patient may fear exercise, especially jumping exercises. In the latter case, it may be necessary to apply medications for pain management, such as an indomethacin plug to the anus or pethidine intramuscularly, which are commonly used to treat kidney stone pain.
